TO THE STAFF OF THE VIRTUAL PHYSICAL CENTER

One can never thank another person enough when it comes to saving their life or the life of a loved one. My husband George had a virtual physical in May of 2001. He had a cardiac score of over 1000. His cardiologist did further testing and told us that he wanted George to have a cardiac cath. While on the cath table it was discovered that George's left anterior descending artery had a significant narrowing. The physician inserted a stent into George's diseased vessel at that time. In the recovery area, the cardiologist asked George what prompted him to get a total body scan since he had no symptoms and had basically been healthy his entire life. George told him that he read about it in one of your ads and decided he wanted to get it done so that he would be around for our two daughters and me. The cardiologist responded by telling us that George must have a guardian angel that was looking after him that day and directed him to the scan.

I don't know what I would have done if George would have had a heart attack and died. Because of your center we found this blockage in George's heart before it caused any heart attack or muscle damage. George could have died at any time. It could have taken days or weeks, months or years. We don't know when it would have happened but the cardiologist said eventually it would have. We are telling everyone we can about the Virtual Physical. Prevention is the key to promoting a long and healthy life style. I am sorry to ramble on about this but if you ever lost a loved one for any reason you will understand how I feel. The girls and I almost lost George. Not only are we grateful that he is alive and well, we are also grateful for having our eyes opened and our hearts open. This has been a wake up call for us and has taught us quickly that life is fragile and we need to love each other every single day and appreciate our loved ones without ever taking each other for granted for even one minute.
