Dear Virtual Physical Staff:
I wanted to write to you to thank you for helping me get a handle on my medical conditions and set me on the right path to wellness. I haven't felt well for over a year now. Despite several tests that my doctor performed he could find nothing to explain my symptoms. After I discussed your Virtual Physical with him he told me it wouldn't hurt to try it. Even though your scan is advertised as a preventive screening and I had symptoms I decided to get it anyway, especially with my doctor agreeing to it. I was basically starting to get depressed over my condition and was desperate to find solutions.
I did find the solution with your scan. Your radiologist told me I have a large left renal cyst. While this is typically nothing to worry about what was important for me is that he said it was so large it was displacing the left kidney anteriorly or to the front. This was obviously pressing on other organs in my abdomen and causing pain.
I took my results to the doctor who sent me to a urologist. The urologist took me to the hospital and drained the cyst. While I did not look forward to this procedure I can tell you that my "unexplained" pain is now completely gone. The urologist told me that if this pain comes back in the future it means the cyst has probably filled back up with fluid and I would have to get it drained again, if it causes me pain. If this happens I will know right away what it is and not be so distraught.
I really was afraid I had some major process going on in my body. Everyone hates to think about it, but the first thing you think is cancer. Thank God for the Virtual Physical because it found my problem and more importantly it gave me piece of mind so I can go on with my life. Thanks again for the good work you are doing.
